Cultural Competency for Health Care Providers

This resource is a collaborative effort between Champlain Valley Health Education Center in Vermont and the University of Vermont AHEC's Freeman Medical Scholars Program. It was designed for health care providers to support the promotion of cultural competency in their practice.  Emphasis is placed on cultural competency and what it means, delivering culturally competent care and effective communication strategies when dealing with diverse cultural backgrounds.
