Leadership Development

The HHS Leadership Development Program: Reimagining Leadership in a Complex System is a powerful, experiential learning journey for participants. Designed to strengthen the learner’s capability to lead within an increasingly complex and challenging environment, the purpose of the program is to support leaders to grow and develop, both personally and professionally, as they help HHS achieve its strategic objectives and desired outcomes. The initial launch of this exciting program was in September 2017. A talented group of 40 interdisciplinary leaders, including nine physicians and physician leaders, are currently participating in this program.

What You Will Gain as a Participant
Participants of the program will gain a significantly increased capacity as leaders to achieve organizational goals, increase performance, improve patient and family experience, and get results through:
  • Deeper understanding – of themselves and others, how to make sense of the world's complexity, engage in collaborative processes, and personally and professional grow using available tools and resources
  • Increased capability – through work assignments, reflection, peer group coaching, and networking offered in the cohort journey
  • Sustained development – learn how to sustain life long development as a leader within our health care system
