The WLMH is planning now for how best to support the significant growth expected in the communities of Grimsby, Lincoln, Smithville, Winona, and throughout the rest of the hospital's service area over the next 25 years. The WLMH will be called upon to provide health services for new and growing families, an increased senior's population, and greater traffic and commercial activities.
Not only will the WLMH's new building serve the growing population base, it will better relieve pressures on the larger hospitals to the east and west. The new building and its services will result in greater efficiencies and higher quality health care for residents across the whole of our LHIN service area (including the Hamilton and Niagara health systems).
