Nursing Graduate Guarantee (NGG) Program
Hamilton Health Sciences (HHS) is participating in the Nursing Graduate Guarantee (NGG) Program this year. The NGG Program is an initiative funded by the Ministry of Health under the Health Workforce Planning Branch. This program is designed to support newly graduated RNs and RPNs, within 12 months of registration with the College of Nurse of Ontario (CNO), with full-time employment opportunity (or the equivalent full time hours). Nurses successful to our NGG program will receive 12 weeks of orientation and transition to practice period, which includes classroom education, and preceptored shifts. This program is available to both new nursing graduates, and internationally educated nurses.
HHS is committed to hiring nurses, eligible for the NGG program, within our Nursing Resource Team, in acute care and medically complex care sites across the organization. We encourage all eligible nurses to participate and join our exciting team.
