The Hamilton General Hospital (HGH) is the provincial leader in complexity of care provided in our neuroscience and trauma programs. HGH is home to a number of Hamilton Health Sciences’ key regional referral programs. The cardiac and vascular program performs more heart surgeries and procedures than any other facility in the province.
HGH recently launched a hybrid operating suite, the suite helps Hamilton Health Sciences stay on the leading edge of care for patients from across the region.
At Hamilton Health Sciences, we operate to provide the best care of all patients who come through our doors. HHS has been named to the Forbes’ Canada’s Best Employers List, has received Accreditation with Exemplary Status with Accreditation Canada, and ranked fourth in Canada’s Top 40 Research Hospitals 2020 by Research Infosource Inc., an independent, leading source of ranking information on Canadian research hospitals, universities, colleges and corporations.
