In partnership with De dwa de dehs nye e>s Aboriginal Health Centre (DAHAC), the Developmental Pediatric and Rehabilitation (DPR) Program provides assessment and diagnostic services for children and youth up to 18 years old, with a query of FASD, who identify as Indigenous, and reside in Hamilton, Brantford, or Niagara.
This service is operated by DAHAC and complemented by DPR. The multi-disciplinary team consists of:
- DAHAC: Primary Care NP/MD and FASD Coordinators
- DPR: Psychologist, Psychometrist, Developmental Pediatrician

Patients/Conditions To Refer
Children and youth up to 18 years old who:
- Identify as Indigenous (First Nations, Metis or Inuit), and
- Have confirmed, suspected or unknown pre-natal alcohol exposure, and
- Have neurodevelopmental concerns, and
- Live in the Hamilton, Niagara, Brant or Haldimant & Norfolk regions
Referral & Contact Information
Referrals can come from primary care or other allied health care providers, other professionals involved in supporting a child or youth, or directly from a family.
