EMOTION-FOCUSED FAMILY THERAPY FOR CAREGIVERS OF CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES
Developmental Pediatrics and Rehabilitation Program
This 3 session, half day virtual workshop is for caregivers of children aged 0-18 years who have a Physical or Intellectual Disability, live in the Hamilton Area and are registered with the Ron Joyce Children’s Health Centre. The focus of the group is to:
- Help their child process and manage emotions through emotion coaching
- Help their child learn to manage difficult behaviours
- Promote wellbeing by working through worries
