COVID-19 Assessment Centres open in Hamilton
Hamilton has opened two COVID-19 Assessment Centres. These clinics will assess whether people need more medical care and/or testing for COVID-19.
Assessment Centres will see individuals who have a referral from their doctor or Hamilton Public Health Services by appointment only, based on symptoms (cough or fever), travel history and/or exposure to known cases.
Local partners including primary care, Hamilton Health Sciences, St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton, Public Health Services and the Ontario Ministry of Health have worked together to activate the Assessment Centres to help safeguard and support the health and wellbeing of people in our community.
Before going to an Assessment Centre, individuals should complete a self-assessment at https://www.ontario.ca/coronavirus
If the assessment indicates that a clinical assessment is necessary, individuals may contact:

If a referral is provided by your doctor, public health or Telehealth, you will be booked to visit an Assessment Centre.
