Applications now closed for the Leaders of Tomorrow Scholarship and Bursary Awards
This year we are excited to announce that HHS will now award scholarships and bursaries to children of individuals with a minimum of three-year working relationship with HHS.
Ten $1,000 scholarship awards and ten $1,000 bursary awards will be handed out in-person on May 30, 2024.
The application deadline is Friday, March 29, 2024.
Application criteria for scholarship awards
- Applications for scholarship awards are available to all individuals who have established continuing working relationship with Hamilton Health Sciences for a minimum of three years.
- At the time of application, students must either be in their final year of high school or first, second or third year of a recognized college, university or trade school.
- Scholarships are for full-time study students, (minimum of eight half courses) during the 2024/2025 academic year.
- Applicants must be able to showcase their academic achievements as well as their experience demonstrating leadership through extracurricular and community involvement.
- Essay submissions required.
Application criteria for bursary awards
- Applications for bursary awards are available to all individuals who have established continuing working relationship with Hamilton Health Sciences for a minimum of three years.
- At the time of application, students must either be in their final year of high school or first, second or third year of a recognized college, university or trade school.
- Bursaries are for full-time study students, (minimum of eight half courses) during the 2024/2025 academic year.
- Total household income must not exceed $95,000.
- Applicants must have experience demonstrating leadership through extracurricular and community involvement.
- Essay submissions required.
