Donations of gifts and time

On behalf of McMaster Children’s Hospital, we thank you for thinking of us and supporting the programming offered to our patients and families. Our first priority is patient safety and for that reason we need to be very specific about our guidelines. Please review the information below before making a donation.

Patient Wish List: Our Wish List highlights a variety of items that we are able to accept, in whatever volume you choose.

For infection control reasons, all donations must be pre-approved by the Child Life department. We will not accept items that are dropped off without prior approval. As a result of our visiting policies and in keeping with public health guidelines, donors will not be allowed to enter the hospital. To have your donations pre-approved and to learn about donation drop off days and times, please e-mail praulins@hhsc.ca to discuss the items you are wishing to donate as well as current needs of the hospital.
