Dr. VanSpall receives inaugural award for women in cardiology

Congratulations to Dr. Harriette Van Spall on receiving the first Women as One Escalator Award, an international initiative aimed at catalyzing the careers of exceptional women in cardiology. The award provides leadership training, research support, speaking opportunities and a cadre of key professional contacts with which to further grow their potential. Winners receive a $50,000 USD donation. The award review panel was made up of 8 senior physicians from Africa, Asia, Europe, North and South America.

Dr. Van Spall will be presented with this award at the American College of Cardiology Conference in Chicago, USA, on March 28, 2020.
