Honouring Charles Juravinski
We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of our friend, Mr. Charles Juravinski. Our thoughts are with Margaret, and their family and friends.
Charles was among our community’s greatest advocates and supporters. He was deeply committed to our healthcare system and a steadfast friend to Hamilton Health Sciences.
Together, Charles and Margaret have shaped the landscape and overall health of our community through decades of generosity and philanthropic leadership, including the development of the Juravinski Hospital and Cancer Centre.
The legacy created by the Juravinskis will continue to enable the provision of high-quality care, groundbreaking clinical discoveries and made-in-Hamilton breakthroughs. The spirit of collaboration forged among healthcare and educational institutions through their philanthropy will continue to grow for years to come.
Charles will be missed by all those who knew him and whose lives he touched through a legacy of caring.
Flags are being lowered at HHS sites in honour of Charles.
We will be forever grateful.
