COVID-19 Screening at Hospital Entrances
Hamilton Health Sciences is limiting entry at our sites, and conducting COVID-19 screening of all patients and visitors before they enter our hospitals. The following locations are the only points of entry and exit for patients and visitors:
Hamilton General Hospital
• Main Entrance
• Regional Rehab
• Parking Level F
Juravinski Hospital and Cancer Centre
• Main Entrance
• Juravinski Cancer Centre main entrance
• Emergency Department
McMaster University Medical Centre
• Main Entrance
• Emergency Department
• Yellow Parking Level Vestibule
West End Clinic / Urgent Care Centre (690 Main St. W.)
• Patient/Visitor Parking lot entrance off of Olmstead St.
St. Peter’s Hospital
• South Entrance
West Lincoln Memorial Hospital
• Main Entrance
If you are a staff member or physician, there will be separate entrances. Please visit the Hub for more information.
All patients and visitors will be asked the following questions as part of the screening process:
• Do you have a fever and new worsening cough, or shortness of breath?
• Have you travelled outside of Canada in the last 14 days?
• Have you been in contact with someone who is sick and had travelled outside of Canada in the last 14 days?
