Supercrawl comes to patients at HHS
Each year, tens of thousands of people flock to Hamilton’s James St. North for Supercrawl, a free street festival aimed at celebrating music, art and culture within our community and beyond.
This year, a couple popular Supercrawl acts made special visits to patients, visitors and staff at HHS who were unable to participate in the festivities downtown:
The Trews visit Hamilton General Hospital
On Sept. 9, Hamilton General Hospital welcomed poplar Canadian rock band The Trews to the site for an intimate outdoor performance. Tara Whitaker, a patient at the Regional Rehabilitation Centre introduced the band as more than 150 fellow patients, family members and staff gathered around:
Sharon & Bram visit McMaster Children’s Hospital
On Sept. 11, family favourites Sharon & Bram gave a lively, interactive performance for our younger patients and their families at McMaster Children’s Hospital, singing classics including “Skinnymarinkydinkydink” and “Wheels on the Bus”.
Thank you to The Trews and Sharon & Bram for bringing Supercrawl to our patients at HHS. We hope to have you back one day!
