Triplets together after 327 days
When Nathan VanWoudenberg got the call that his wife, Jodi, was about to deliver their triplets, he was excited, but terrified. She was just over 25 weeks into her pregnancy and the babies still had lots of growing to do. But ready or not, the triplets were on their way.
“They’re like superhumans.”
The babies were born at McMaster University Medical Centre and immediately whisked away for intensive care. Their tiny lungs were underdeveloped and they needed a lot of help breathing, especially baby Malachi.
