Updated Visitor Guidelines

As of March 1, we will no longer require essential caregivers, support persons or visitors to show proof of vaccination when visiting our hospitals.

With evidence of decreased community prevalence of COVID-19, including declining hospital admissions, high rates of vaccination among citizens and zero outbreaks, we are easing restrictions associated with our Family Presence Guideline.

To maintain the health and safety of everyone who enters our hospitals, all essential caregivers and visitors are still required to screen for symptoms of COVID-19, and wear the appropriate personal protective equipment for the duration of the visit that at a minimum includes a mask.

We will continue to provide medical masks to visitors at designated hospital entrances. However, visitors and patients who choose to wear their own clean, well-fitting mask (N95 or KN95), will be permitted to do so.

Our approach has been developed with feedback from Patient and Family Advisors, staff and physicians, and with COVID-19 safety guidelines as a priority.

As we implement this important change, we also recognize that vaccination continues to be our most powerful defense against COVID-19, and encourage everyone to get vaccinated.
