Screeners inspired to start a career in health care
What a difference a year makes! This time last year, all of our patients and visitors were greeted by screeners before entering our hospital sites. As well as being welcoming, these screeners played a pivotal role in lessening the spread of COVID-19 and keeping our hospitals safe and running smoothly.
Meet three former screeners who found their calling through this temporary position, and went on to pursue careers in health care.
Our year in review
Hamilton Health Sciences wouldn’t exist without our amazing staff, doctors, allied health care providers and volunteers. In spite of the ongoing pressures that 2022 heaped on our teams, they dug in to provide the very best care to our patients.
