The Division of Pediatric Cardiology at McMaster Children’s Hospital adopts a holistic approach to provide the highest quality of care for our patients.
Our division provides exceptional care for babies, children, and adolescents with congenital heart disease pre-and post-operatively, as well as services for children with acquired heart disease such as Kawasaki disease and cardiomyopathies.
We also provide a full range of diagnostic services (echocardiograms, electrocardiograms, exercise tests, Holters, and event monitoring) and evaluation for children with suspected heart conditions including murmurs, palpitations, chest pain, dizziness, and fainting.
The division is a growing interdisciplinary team comprised of academic pediatric cardiologists, nurses, echocardiogram technicians, and staff. As a group, we share an enthusiasm for collaboration and knowledge translation. We are committed to continually advance and refine our proficiency in clinical, educational, and research endeavours.
