Discovery Days in Health Sciences is a one-day symposium designed to attract high school students across Ontario in grades 10-12 who are considering a career in Health Sciences. Students benefit from an inspiring keynote speaker and exposure to interactive workshops and/or laboratory or clinical demonstrations that are lead by mentors from various healthcare professions, including undergraduate and graduate students. Upon completion of the day, students leave with a better understanding of the far-reaching opportunities a career in health sciences could hold for them.

The target audience for this event is students, teachers and guidance counselors. If you are a healthcare professional interested in becoming a mentor for a Discovery Day event, please email Donna Catherwood at catherwood@hhsc.ca.

Discovery Days in Health Sciences is hosted in partnership with the Canadian Medical Hall of Fame and McMaster University Health Sciences.
