The Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) Program serves the rehabilitation needs of adults with acquired brain injuries and their families. Our program provides specialized care to provincial, regional and local patients.
A team of health care professionals work together with the patient and their family to achieve their rehabilitation goals.
Care We Provide
- Neurobehavioural Rehabilitation Service (B3 North) is a provincial program providing assessment and treatment to individuals with an acquired brain injury and subsequent complex behaviour and/or mental health challenges.
- Community Re-Integration Program (B3 South) supports individuals with moderate to severe brain injury. Treatment focuses on regaining a level of independence in order to reintegrate into the community.
- Slow to Recover Program (B3 South) supports individuals who have suffered a severe brain injury resulting in complex needs that require intensive treatment.
