About the Department
Emergency Medicine and Pre-Hospital Services supports the Patient-Centered Care philosophy developed for Hamilton Health Sciences. Our Mission, Vision and Values captures the essence of caring that currently exists within Hamilton Health Sciences.
The Emergency Departments at HHS continue to grow and align with our community needs. We have a dedicated Pediatric Emergency Department at McMaster University Medical Centre. Our full service emergency departments are located at the Hamilton General and Juravinski sites. We have recently had West Lincoln Memorial Hospital ED join our family of emergency departments. We also have the Main Street West Urgent Care Centre that is part of our HHS ED community.

About the Chief – Dr. Kuldeep Sidhu
Dr. Kuldeep Sidhu has practiced full time emergency medicine since 1993. He received his Master of Science degree and Medical degree from McMaster University. He completed his CCFP in family medicine in 1992 and his CCFP (EM) Special Competency in Emergency Medicine in 1993 at McMaster University where he is presently an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Family Medicine.
