The Pediatric Celiac Disease Clinic cares for approximately 500 children and teens up to age 18 from our region. Patients suspected of Celiac disease are expedited at referral so that investigations and treatment can begin quickly. Treatment is entirely nutrition based. Your team includes physicians, dietitian, nurse, social worker, and child life. Patients are seen regularly for health maintenance to maximize healthy personal development and educational achievement. As a Celiac Disease Centre of Excellence, patients have access to the most advanced and effective care in Canada.
