Pediatric Lipid Clinic, Center for Exercise & Nutrition (CENC)

The Pediatric Lipid Clinic sees children and adolescents with disorders in lipid metabolism (abnormal cholesterol or triglyceride levels), many of whom have a family history of dyslipidemia or premature coronary artery disease.

The primary approaches to treatment for children with lipid disorders include nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle modification. For some children, treatment may include lipid-lowering medication.

The Pediatric Lipid Clinic includes a Transition Clinic to help adolescents with lipid disorders continue their care into the adult setting.

For more information, visit the Pediatric Lipid Clinic page for patients and families.
